Solve land issues within a week, Collector directs officials in Sircilla

Sircilla: District Collector P Venkatram Reddy ordered the officials to identify the 13 revenue villages in each mandal, to stay in the villages for one week from Wednesday onwards (May 1) and solve all land issues in these villages.

He held a meeting with tahsildars and village revenue officers of all mandals to discuss land records updation programme at the meeting hall in the Sircilla Collectorate on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector told the officials concerned to inspect the lands and conduct a perfect survey, with the help of members of farmers coordinating committees, SHGs, community elders, public representatives and youth leaders.

The Collector said that he along with joint collector, district revenue officer and revenue divisional officer will visit the 13 selected revenue villages and will inspect the progress of works.

With the cooperation of others, the officials must complete the programme successfully, he directed.

Venkatram Reddy ordered Panchayat Raj executive engineer to complete lay out works in Anantagiri and R&R colony of Thungalapalli villages within 20 days by handing over the work responsibility to DE and AEEs and by deploying more number of workers. By completing the works of laying of roads, black top and metalling works, the land must be kept ready for issuing land pattas to the oustees of Anatagiri.
