Stop misuse of freebies

It's a good thought to link the liquor sales with Aadhaar. All liquor shops and bars should have Aadhaar-enabled point-of-sale (PoS) machines.

This will help in monitoring the consumption of liquor. Often, we notice a message doing rounds on the social networking platforms that the governments should stop freebies to those who can afford to buy liquor.

Maybe this is the high time the governments pondered on this issue and brought in a legislation to stop the misuse of freebies by economically weaker sections.
