Striking RTC staff get support from different organisations
On the 14th day of TSRTC strike, the striking employees received support from different quarters of society.
Mahbubnagar: On the 14th day of TSRTC strike, the striking employees received support from different quarters of society. They took out bike rallies in Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, and Wanaparthy and Gadwal districts.
In Nagarkurnool, the RTC employees received support from the Doctors' Association members who reached the RTC employees camp and expressed their full support. The members of Doctors' Association along with the RTC employees took out a rally and raised slogans against the TRS government.
In Wanaparthy district, the RTC employees received support from the opposition leaders. They along with the RTC employees took out a bike rally and expressed their solidarity with the RTC employees.
In Kalwakurthy mandal of Nagarkurnool district, the RTC employees tried to laid siege to TRS MLA Jaipal Yadav's house and raised anti-KCR and anti-TRS government slogans. In Kosgi mandal of Narayanpet district, the RTC employees along with the support of Congress, CPI, CPM, TJS and other opposition parties conducted a bike rally and raised slogans against KCR. They demanded that the government come down and call the RTC employees for talks before the situation goes out of hand.
In Achampet, RTC driver Hari Chander, who was taking part in the strike actively, attempted suicide by climbing an electric pole. However, alert RTC employees convinced him to get down and averted another suicide.
In Shandnagar, the RTC JAC leader Srinivas, Narasimhulu called up on all sections of people from across erstwhile Mahbubnagar to support bandh on October 19 and make it a grand success.
