Hyderabad: There is a minor relief for Aarogyasri beneficiaries as Super-specialty hospitals are admitting them for treatment for various ailments, while the 240-odd private hospitals across the State continue their boycott of Aarogyasri services for second consecutive day.

Health Minister Eatala Rajender himself announced after holding talks on this issue, a day earlier, that Super-specialty hospitals have accepted his request to continue treatments under Aarogyasri scheme after an assurance for resolving the issue at the earliest.

Accordingly, some corporate hospitals extended treatments under this health insurance scheme.

Private network hospitals demanded that the government release the total dues of Rs 1,500 crore while the government claims that dues are only Rs 600 crore.
