An unmarried couple committed suicide on Friday after their parents refused their marriage.
An unmarried couple committed suicide on Friday after their parents refused their marriage. The two were found hanging from a tree at Moddula Cheruvu village of Munagala mandal of Suryapet.
According to the police, Naveen (21), a native of Chandupatla village of Chivvemla mandal was in a relationship with a woman and the two decided to get married. However, the parents of the two rejected their marriage proposal.
Depressed over it and unable bear the separation, the duo left their homes on Thursday and was found dead today morning. The death of the couple was noticed by the villagers who alerted the police.
The police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem. An investigation is on.
