TDP wins Bhadrachalam PACS chairman post

Bhadrachalam: The TDP candidate won Bhadrachalam Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) chairman post. On Wednesday, the election was conducted here under the tight security. The election was held for 12 director post out of 14. In which, the TDP and its friendly parties CPM, CPI and Congress have won 9 directors' post and TRS 2. TDP candidate Ammineni Srinivas and Congress candidate K Satyanarayana have elected as chairman and vice-chairman unanimously respectively with support of the CPM, CPI and Congress parties. Out of 40 members, 30 members took part in the voting. In 2014 elections also, the TDP had won the PACS chairman post. Bhadrachalam MLA Podem Veeraiah and other party leaders have felicitated the newly elected PACS chairman, vice-chairman and directors. He thanked the CPI and CPM for extending support to TDP and Congress candidates.
