Hyderabad: Telangana BJP leadership on Thursday mounted a no-hold-bar attack calling Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as anti-national and a traitor of the country. Addressing the media here, State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar reacted to the reported remarks made by KCR, that the BJP-led Centre had only unleashed propaganda.

He alleged that KCR was toeing the line of the AIMIM and trying to stoke communal passions among people. Condemning the remarks of the Chief Minister, the Karimnagar MP asked as to "Whom was he wooing for votes by belittling the country?"

Sanjay Kumar said that KCR has questioned whether the Centre wanted to send 30 crore Muslims out of the country. But, he does not seem to bother about the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan. He stated that the saffron party was all set to pack off KCR and TRS from Telangana.

Condemning the remarks of Chief Minister against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he warned KCR to restrain himself from making such remarks. The BJP State chief said that earlier the CM had asked the TS DGP to put a person for making intemperate remarks against the PM. "Now, we demand the State DGP to put him (KCR) behind the bars for the same," he added.

He alleged that the CM KCR had stalled the disbursal of financial assistance to the flood victims as per a pre-designed plan by creating a forged and fake letter in his name. He said that it was unbecoming on the part of a Chief Minister to make remarks like "A tea seller selling out the country."

Further, "KCR has a habit of revising his third front rhetoric before every election. But, none bothered and took him seriously, despite making several rounds to different States," he pointed out.

Bandi Sanjay said that that the PM Modi has taken several challenging decisions like scraping Article 370 to send a clear message that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of the country. Similarly, CAA has been enacted to provide the much-needed relief to the religiously persecuted minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and to give them citizenship in the country.

Creating legal protection to Muslim women with scraping triple Talaq, free LPG connections, construction of individual toiles, financial assistance to farmers, loans to women, Atmanirbhar package economic stimulation package, construction of Lord Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya are a few to name the achievement of the Modi's government.

On the other, he asked the Chief Minister as to what he had done in the last six years and demanded to give clarity on his achievements to the people. He said that BJP has the election manifesto of TRS though it had removed the same from its website.
