Telangana: Elderly man held for sexually assaulting 3-year-old girl in Bhadradri

An elderly man was thrashed and later handed over the police after he sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl in Pragati Nagar at Kothagudem.

On learning the incident, the parents of the girl tied the accused to a pole and brutally thrashed him. The police registered a case and an inquiry is underway.

In a similar case, a third additional sessions court in Kothagudem sentenced a 55-year-old man to three-year imprisonment for misbehaving with his married daughter and also imposed Rs 30,000 fine.

The accused, Ramesh visited her daughter's home and misbehaved with her when her husband went out. Based on the complaint by the woman, the police registered a case and filed a charge-sheet.
