Telangana govt. to decide on movie theatres, shootings soon: Talasani

Minister for cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the government will take a decision on the movie shootings and theatres opening soon. The minister held a meeting with film personalities at Megastar Chiranjeevi's residence here in the city today.

The minister said that the state government is concerned about the families of cinema workers and is positive towards the start of film shootings. However, a decision will be taken after the Chief Minister reviews the situation after lockdown. He also discussed on the precautionary measures including social distancing, wearing face masks, using sanitizers to be adopted if the government gives its nod for film shootings.

Meanwhile, the actors and producers who were present in the meeting said that they will soon submit a video to the state government demonstrating the measures to be taken by the film cast and crew during indoor and outdoor shootings.

Actor Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Producer D Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, C Kalyan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Gemini Kiran, Shyam Prasad Reddy, director SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Trivikram Srinivas, N Shankar, Koratala Siva and Ram Mohan Rao were present at the meeting.
