TRS leader who kidnapped by Maoists found dead

A TRS local leader who was kidnapped by the Maoists was found dead in Errampadu forest at Charla mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Friday morning. Nalluri Srinivas, who was the former MPTC was kidnapped from his residence late at Charla on Tuesday night.

Locals who found the body at the forest alerted the police. A note from the Maoists was recovered near the body of the TRS leader which said that Rao was allegedly working as an informer to the police and also grabbed the farmers' lands.

According to the reports, the Maoists who were armed with local guns kidnapped him for being accused in grabbing land of tribal people. After the kidnap, Srinivas's wife Durga along with the villagers had gone into deep forest in search of the leader but failed to notice him.
