In view of scrapping of Article 370 and 35A related to Jammu and Kashmir, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday issued advisory to all States across the country to be on high alert in all communally sensitive areas in their respective states.

Based on their advisory Telangana DGP in turn alerted all the commissioners and SPs of all districts to take care of the situation with high vigilance in the hypersensitive areas in their limits. District borders are on high alert and strict vigilance is being maintained by the police personnel.
The Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissioners have reviewed the situation in their limits and instructed the senior officials to keep high vigil and take up patrolling in the sensitive and hyper-sensitive areas of their limits.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar and Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat reacting on the Jammu and Kashmir developments and the advisory of Home Ministry said that they were fully prepared to handle the situation.
Already an undeclared and official implementation of Section 144 is resuming in their limits.
On the other hand, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar rushed to the Old City and has been camping there. Additional forces were deployed in the sensitive and hyper-sensitive areas and the Paramilitary forces were kept in reserve to plunge into the situation if any crisis or untoward incidents happen in Old City and other parts in the Greater Hyderabad limits.
Round-the-clock monitoring with intensified night patrolling in the sensitive areas was conducted in several parts of the Old City.
He has asked all the Blue Colts and patrol cars to cover each and every area.
By putting up pickets, the police are concentrating and keeping vigil on the movements of anti-social elements, rowdy-sheeters and miscreants and taking them into custody if any suspicious movement was found.
CP Hyderabad has appealed not to take out any processions or rally in the wake of situation over Kashmir.
