Telangana Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar tested positive for corona. Ajay Kumar had undergone RTPCR test on Monday. Ajay Kumar asked the people who have met him to during various programs to take tests. The minister is under home quarantine at his residence at Minister's quarters in Hyderabad.
In the past 24 hours, 491 new corona cases have been registered in Telangana along with three deaths. This brings the number of corona cases across the state to 2,78,599. So far 2,69,828 people have been discharged and 1,499 have died. With this, there are currently 7,272 active cases in the state, according to a latest report by the Department of Health.
