Telangana: Wife kills alcoholic husband in Mancherial

A 40-year-old woman thrashed her alcoholic husband to death at Mancherial here on Thursday.

Janani and Lakshman (48) are the residents of Rajiv Nagar in Mancherial. Lakshman who works as an electrician had got addicted to alcohol and used to harass his wife.

Unable to tolerate the harassment, Janani thrashed her husband with a stick who succumbed to serious injuries. The woman later surrendered before the police.

The police said that Lakshman used to pick up a quarrel with Janani over petty issues and was not taking up any job to run his family.
