Three children drown in tank in Warangal

Three children including a girl drowned in a tank at Gorrekunta village of Geesugonda mandal in Warangal district on Thursday.

The police fished out two bodies including the girl's body with the help of the swimmers while the search is on for another boy's body. It is learned that the three children who were playing near the tank went into the water.

As none of them knew swimming, all the three drowned in the tank. The police registered a case and are identifying the bodies of the deceased. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem.

On January 19, 2020 - three children identified as Deepak, Siddharth and Huzur drowned in a pit in Nizamabad. The trio were last seen playing near their home. After they did not return home, the parents of the children lodged a complaint with the police who found them dead in the pit.
