Plantation and protection of saplings is everyone’s responsibility, said Superintendent of Police C Shashidhar Raju after participating indoor plantation drive under Haritha Haram at Ananthapur village under Nirmal rural police station limits on Wednesday.

Participating as a chief guest, Shashidhar Raju said that scanty rains are due to deforestation. As the TRS government find out the problem for deficit rainfall, launched Haritha Haram programme to protect the environment. He urged the villagers to plant and to protect the saplings planted under Haritha Haram.
It's everyone's responsibility to give pollution-free environment to the future generations, ensure oxygen to them, he said.Bhainsa DSP Rajesh Balla, Rural Inspector Srinivas Reddy, SI Krishna Kumar, Allola Muralidhar Reddy, Sarpanch Ashok, villagers and others were present.
