TRS committed to develop temples: Vinod Kumar

Karimnagar: The TRS government is committed for the renovation and development of various temples present across the State, informed B Vinod Kumar the TRS LS candidate from Karimnagar Parliament constituency.

The members of Sri Durga Bhavani Temple Seva Samiti Committee, Nagunoor, took a resolution of casting all their votes to B Vinod Kumar in the ensuing LS elections, at a meeting held here in the temple premises on Thursday.

Vinod Kumar, the chief guest at the meeting, said that the TRS government is striving hard to restore the lost glory to the temples in the State, which were neglected by the rulers in the united Andhra Pradesh. As part of this, several developmental works were taken up at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri along with allotting maximum funds for Vemulawada Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple. will be developed and issues would be taken to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Vinod assured.

MLA Gangula Kamalakar said both Congress and BJP, which are boasting themselves as national parties, had neglected Karimnagar and did nothing for its development. BJP leaders are playing with the future of students by provoking them in the name of religion.

'Its not BJP alone, which has Hindus, but the TRS also has Hindus as its leaders and cadre. In fact, it has a greater number of Hindus than that of BJP.'

Kamalakar reminded that there was no violence across the State and no curfews and implementation of 144 section after the formation of Telangana State.

All the people of various religions and castes are living peacefully and the BJP is trying to disturb the peace in the name of religion and encouraging communalism across the country, he alleged.

The people must understand this and must elect TRS LS candidate B Vinod Kumar with bumper majority, he appealed.

The representatives of temple committee V Laxman, A Vijendar Reddy, Bal Narayana, Vemulawada Dronacharya, N Thirupathi, B Prabhakar, S Srinivas, N Raji Reddy, A Mallesham, Veeresham were present along with others.
