Assembly Speaker undertook a whirlwind tour of Kamareddy and Nizamabad districts on Thursday where he toured Jenda galli, Hanuman galli and Sindhi galli in Banswada and spend some time in the houses of poor people and inquired about their problems.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Reddy said many problems can be solved if the authorities act in a practical way without looking at the administration ground. The government is working to improve the poor people in Telangana by adding humanitarian values to the administration and the authorities should work to address the grievances of the poor in the next five months, Speaker said.
Speaker Reddy inaugurated a milk chilling centre at SN Puram village of Varni mandal, Nizamabad district. The building was constructed at a cost of Rs 45 lakhs. He stated that the Telangana State had a peasant-supportive government.
He also inaugurated Agricultural Market Committee building at Varni mandal headquarters, which was constructed with Rs 30 lakhs. Godown levelling works started with an investment of Rs 30 lakhs. The Speaker also inaugurated CC roads constructed with Rs 50 lakhs.
