Vikarabad: Santhosh Kumar Kolkunda, a young lawyer from Tarigoppula village of Tharur mandal, embarked on a cycling tour from Jammu to Kanyakumari on Independence Day. The PCC president of Jammu and Kashmir, Mir Ahmed, flagged off the yatra.

Santhosh Kumar, a lawyer and national secretary of Indian Youth Congress and in charge for Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Andhra Pradesh, said that the mission was taken up to promote sports, education, health and environment for pooling crowd funding for organisations working on these fields.

Passing through 12 States covering more than 4,000 kilo meters, the 35-year-old will complete his expedition in 40 days. He named it as 'Unity in Diversity – Ride with Pride.'
