Two cars collide; several injured in Vikarabad

Vikarabad: Two cars, which rammed into each other near Kandlapally gate in Pudur mandal on Monday were engulfed in flames.

Several persons, who sustained severe injuries were shifted to a government hospital for treatment and later, three of them were rushed to a private hospital in the town for better treatment as their condition worsened.

The mishap took place when the Indica Car from Manneguda to Hyderabad and i20 Car heading towards Manneguda from Hyderabad collided against each other.

Locals said that the fire was caused by the soaring day temperatures.
