Two GHMC workers killed as garbage truck falls off weigh bridge

Two workers of GHMC died in a freak mishap at the GHMC garbage transfer station at Imlibun on Tuesday morning.
Hyderabad: Two workers of GHMC died in a freak mishap at the GHMC garbage transfer station at Imlibun on Tuesday morning.
The workers were identified as Mohammed Arif (52) and Haji Khan (38).
According to Afzalganj police, the mishap occurred when Arif was transferring garbage bins with the help of Haji Khan, a contract labourer.
Police suspect that the driver might have lost control of the vehicle which overturned and fell off the weigh bridge due to which both the persons were injured seriously.
Immediately they were shifted to the hospital where they died while undergoing treatment. Police registered a case and are investigating.
