Veteran journalist Y V Ramakotaiah passed away on Tuesday, according to family sources.
Hyderabad: Veteran journalist Y V Ramakotaiah passed away on Tuesday, according to family sources.
He was 86. Ramakotaiah, who till recently worked with The Hans India, started off with Deccan Chronicle and worked for a long period on the Editorial desk.
He mentored many young journalists during his career. He also worked with AP Times. Given the experience he had, his services were sought by the newspapers even after his retirement.
His body will be kept at his house 1-6-23 in Musheerabad to pay last respects. Funeral will take place on Wednesday.
