Wanted chain snatcher arrested

Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force sleuths along with Bowenpally police on Wednesday laid a trap and arrested a notorious snatching offender Mohammed Faisal (25) moving in a car.

They detected three cases including robbery and snatching cases in Bowenpally, Malakpet and Kukatpally police station limits and seized a dagger, four mobile phones, two bikes and a car from his possession.

The accused had formed a gang and was snatching costly cell phones, cash bags in the night hours by moving on high speed bikes and targeting the lonely victims going by walk. He had a criminal record since 2013 and so far was involved in 18 cases including 14 snatching cases, 1 ordinary theft, 1 murder case and a robbery.
