Warangal: Mega Christmas gala to begin tomorrow
The grand gala celebration christened as ‘United Mega Christmas’ is all set to get underway here on December 15.
Warangal: The grand gala celebration christened as 'United Mega Christmas' is all set to get underway here on December 15. Bishop Udumala Bala, the Chairman of the event, told the media persons here on Friday that they were organising the mega event celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ inviting all the Christian societies spread across tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet.
The event will commence at Fatima Cathedral in Fatima Nagar of Kazipet on December 15.
"We have been celebrating the event for the last seven years bringing all the Christians under one umbrella," Bala said.
The Co-chairmen of the event Rev Pastor D Iasaac said that a 17-kilometer Mega youth rally will be organised from Warangal to Kazipet on December 21, he said. Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Government Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar, Warangal East MLA Nannapuneni Narender, Wardhannapet MLA Aroori Ramesh, Warangal Urban ZP Chairperson M Sudheer Kumar, Commissioner of Police V Ravinder and others expected to take part in the rally.
Later, Bishop Bala released the posters of United Mega Christmas, in which K Vijay Kumar, Joseph Prabhakar, Y Kiran, Immanuel, Manda Kumar, Kalpana Praveen, Immadi Kiran and Sangala Dileep were among others present.
