Woman jumps from Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad, dies

A 50-year-old woman who was suffering from a rare skin disease jumped from the second floor of the outpatient building at Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday night. But the incident came to light on Thursday after she died while undergoing treatment.

According to the doctors, Rajamma slipped into depression and took the extreme step to get rid of the pain and burning sensation on her body caused due to the disease. She jumped from the building when her husband went to bring her food, they said.

Rajamma who suffered multiple fractures and a head injury died while undergoing treatment. She is a native of Chapta village of Narayankhed.
