Just In
Dark moves at an intriguing pace without really trying to make it as complex as one may find it is. In fact, it is a story that tries to talk about the time travel in a way that the time itself feels like an object that keeps changing and we suffer the consequences.

It has a great emotional depth at core and it changes the momentum with this episode. First two feel slow in front but it gets difficult to follow it as the director, Baran bo Odar keeps the time travel element as the musical note throughout. In Ghosts, we can see that clearly and even he decided to not waste the precious storytelling opportunity from this episode on.
He seamlessly delivers on the emotional points and hooks you with new twists. This episode will go down as the kick-starter of the season as it keeps us on the edge without really trying too hard. Sometimes, we may have to stop and rewind to catch up with everything but once we get invested in Jonas, Martha and Noah's story arc, we understand that the story is more about emotions than time travel.
We have to even keep ourselves updated with the season 1 events as the season 2 deepens in this episode. We don't want to give out spoilers and damage your fun as this series lives on being able to catch you off-guard and deliver on it. A solid entry in overall arc and a real tease of an episode about the conclusion of this season.
