Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) Season 3 episode 07 review

Again Alicia Sierra comes up with a plan to catch the Professor by announcing big cash prize against him. She insists on the best officers to go and locate them around the area that their van was found. Tamayo accepts to her plan and gang welcomes Rio.

Professor talks to Rio and confirms that the police tortured him. He uses it to their advantage by confirming this is their war against the system. Sierra tries to find their escape route and gold grains shifting route from the bank.

Rio is shocked with the support and Professor hints at him being bugged. The gang is already trained by him to remove it and Nairobi succeeds. Professor insists that they keep the police in dark by all possible means, necessary. But Rio breaks up with Tokyo believing that they both are better, if they can stay separate from each other.

On the other hand, Police close-in on Professor and he insists that Raquel also camouflage like him. She fails and finds a barn to hide. Tokyo is heart broken but the gang continues with their plan to convert gold biscuits to grains. Police think they are close to a victory.

This episode shows us how the cat and mouse game can be intensified without trying to be dumb. Every character choice seems to be true to their character and narration is top notch. But the pacing suffers in this one but catches up towards the end.
