Missing farmer's body found in Nakka Vagu in Guntur district

Guntur: A missing farmer found dead in Nakka Vagu near Sankurathripadu village in Nadendla Mandal of Guntur district. According to the police, Srikanth (29), a farmer of Sankurathripadu village had got married to Swapna two years ago.

On Thursday, Srikanth and his father were crossing the bridge while returning from their farmland. As the water flow was heavy, Srikanth washed away in the stream. The other farmers who were present there rushed for his rescue but failed.

Over the information, Nadendla in-charge Tahsildar Nancharya, SI Chennakesavulu, and fire department officials reached the spot and launched the search operations.

In the meantime, the farmers have found Srikanth's body. The police have recovered the body and shifted to Chilakaluripet government hospital for post-mortem and later handed over to the family members.
