108 employees seek regularisation of services at Collectorate

Chittoor: The employees of 108 ambulance services have staged a dharna at the Collectorate here on Tuesday, seeking regularisation of services. The district leaders of the 108 Contract Employees Union have participated in the protest.

They said that emergency medical technicians and ambulance drivers have no job security despite completing more than 13 years of service. The union leaders urged Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to consider reasonable and genuine demands of the employees. Later, they submitted a representation to the Joint Collector for due consideration. Union leaders K Siva Kumar and others also spoke.
