Acquire extra skills to get jobs, OSD advises tribals, youth: SP

Salur (Vizianagaram): Police Officer on Special Duty, Additional SP J Rammohan advised the tribal students and youth to acquire some extra skills apart from academic education to get jobs. Unless we have some technical skills or knowledge it is difficult to get a job and earn more, he said.

On Tuesday, he addressed the tribal youth in an awareness camp organised at Salur of Vizianagaram district and said that police department will help them to learn some technical courses like electrician, TV mechanism and mobile phone mechanism.

``We are going to give an intensive practical training on hotel management and on housekeeping course at Visakhapatnam and later they will be appointed in five star hotels in various positions. The youth should come forward and avail the support of police.

For all these trainings the youth need not spend any thing and the entire expenditure will be afforded by the police department only." Ramamohan said. K Simhadri Naidu, CI said the tribal youth should not be attracted towards anti-social elements or bad habits like consuming liquor or some other sedatives. They should mould their lives by learning some skills. Police would always help them in all aspects, he said.
