Adjust weekly-offs with one another, SP tells policemen

Ongole: District Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal organized a review meeting in the Galaxy meeting hall to issue guidelines on the weekly-off to the police personnel. Interacting with the police department officials, the SP discussed with the them about the possible issues arising in the utilization of the weekly-offs and solutions to address them.

After taking the feedback from the other officers, the SP ordered the concerned officials to see the staff at the police stations, offices and AR duty to get weekly-offs on a rotation basis. He asked them to give the escort staff a weekly-off depending on the possibility along with the other person and ensure that no one has an issue with it.

If any personnel takes leave even after the utilization of the weekly-off, he asked the officials to consider it as the casual leave and adjust that day's duty with another person on the condition that the person on leave works on the weekly-off day of the person on duty.

He urged the police personnel to work as a family so that they could adjust themselves for the need of others in exchange for weekly-offs. The SB DSP VS Rambabu, SDPOs of Chirala, Kandukur, Darsi, CCS DSP, circle inspectors and Sub-Inspectors in the district also participated in the meeting.
