Anantapur MP plans to develop burial grounds

Anantapur: MP Talari Rangaiah has revealed his plans to develop burial grounds with all modern amenities. Speaking to The Hans India here on Friday, Rangaiah said that all basic amenities will be provided at burial grounds of all religions including Hindu, Christian and Muslims.

Stating that successive governments had neglected the development of burial grounds and crematoriums, he said that his pet project was development of burial grounds in all villages, towns and cities in the Parliamentary constituency.

Rangaiah said that he would order for a survey of number of burial grounds and the necessary amenities apart from construction of compound walls and water bores. He would also make efforts to free burial grounds from encroachments.

The MP called upon the public to suggest a good name for burial grounds and the best name will get a cash award of Rs 10,000. The suggested name can be conveyed to the committee on mobile number 9849254712. He also called upon philanthropists to donate liberally for the burial ground development project.
