MP promises more industries, more jobs to youth

Guntakal (Anantapur): MP Talari Rangaiah has promised to bring in more industries and jobs for the unemployed youth and also upgrade academic, technical and personal skills of the educated jobless youth.

Participating in a mega job fair at the Railway English Medium High School here on Saturday, Rangaiah said that more job fairs will be conducted in future. He stated that 16 companies participated in the mela and more companies will participate in the next fair in his constituency.

He advised students to acquire knowledge in languages- English, Hindi and Kannada. The MP asked students to draw inspiration from former president of India Abdul Kalam and prime minister Narendra Modi who came up in life from humble beginnings.

District Collector S Sathyanarayana said that the government in tune with its policy to establish one skill development centre in every parliamentary constituency, is setting up one in JNT university campus. There are 32 engineering colleges and 32 degree colleges. The students should learn English and other regional languages of industrial hubs to boost their employability, he said.

Guntakal MLA Venkataram Reddy promised to get more industries to Guntakal. AP Skill Development Corporation manager Sri Kanth Reddy was also present.
