AP government postpones SSC exams amid coronavirus spread and state lockdown
The government of Andhra Pradesh led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, which has earlier postponed the Secondary School Certificate Public Examinations to March 31 over the Local Body Elections in the state has now once again postponed for two more weeks in the wake of fast spreading coronavirus and state lockdown.
The minister for education Adimulapu Suresh has given the statement to this extent in Tuesday. He said that I've exams are postponed for two weeks and the new schedule will be issued after March 31.
On the other hand, AP government is already taking many steps to combat the coronavirus. Yet the number of cases reached 7. The government is taking some stringent measures. As part of that, the exams also postponed.
The AP SSC examinations were scheduled to begin on March, 31 and finish of April 17 will now move further to complete. The APPSC exams were also postponed.
