AP High Court Gives Directions To Lower Court On Kodela Sivaram's Assembly Furniture Case

The late TDP leader and former AP speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao's son Sivaram has been granted bail in several cases for violating his father's authority during the TDP period. Tuluru police have registered a case against Kodela's son on moving assembly furniture to his Hero Honda showroom in Guntur.

He applied for bail in this case. High Court judge Justice Durga Prasad Rao held a hearing on Wednesday. The judge who examined the Shivaram petition said that he should surrender to the lower court on October 9 and seek bail. Moreover, the magistrate ordered the lower court to issue bail.

Apart from Assembly furniture theft case, several cases such as the stealing of computers from the Skill Development Center, extortion of money from unemployed youth are also registered in Sattenpally.

Meanwhile, police have registered cases against Kodela Sivaram and his sister Vijayalakshmi at Narasaraopeta and Sattenpally police stations. Shivaram approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail. The trial court granted him bail on Tuesday upon surrendering at First Additional Munsif Magistrate's Court in Narasaraopet.
