AP Women's commission organises innovative program 'Take Over' on International Children Day

The Andhra Pradesh Women's Commission on Friday organised an innovative program called 'Take Over' on the occasion of International Children's Day. Vasireddy Padma, Chairman of Women's Commission conducted the 'Take Over' program by allowing the orphans to sit in the chairman and members of the Women's Commission seats. Speaking on the occasion, Vasireddy Padma said that the purpose of the program is to reassure the children of what they are imagining.

She said the students were brought from Navjeevan Balabhavan care and Sher orphan houses. Among the orphans, Jyotsna has garnered the chairman seat and the rest of the children were sitting in their seats as members. Jyotsna is a student who has received 30 awards as well as a Presidential Award in archery.

The chairman of the Women's Commission said it was a great pleasure to have such a student sitting in the chair. They all said they would stand up for the protection of women. Vasireddy Padma explained that this is only the first step of the Women's Commission.
