APTA training imparted to master trainees
Vijayawada: Vijaya Krishnan, CEO, APTA said that the precise training programme has facilitated students on the key elements for employing in tourism sector and knowledge on Andhra Pradesh Tourism Destinations.
She was speaking at the three-day comprehensive training programme on "Andhra Pradesh Tourism Destination Specialist" for Masters Trainee Trainers for visually challenged students organised by L V Prasad Eye Institute, Vijayawada.
She said such kind of workshops and training programmes will augment employment opportunity in tourism sector in the state. She said they had been providing skill development programmes for tour guides, cab drivers and also in food & beverage segment to accomplish the mission of World Tourism Day 2019 – 'Tourism and Jobs: A better Future for all'.
The sessions were emphasized on Travel Agency Management, Hotel Management, Soft Skills and E-Guide on Tourism etc. The objective is to enhance skill on tourism among students, unemployed youth and community. The growth and development of tourism can be measured through offering a friendly experience to tourists.
Ajay Kumar Reddy, the current captain of the National Blind Cricket Team of India, Anusha, Trainer from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Dr Sambasiva Raju, Director Admin, Srinivas Rao, Chief Marketing Officer, Lajvanti Naidu, Asst Director- Capacity Building, Nishar Ahmed, Asst Director- Cuisine were present at the valedictory session.
