Banking plays key role in economic growth: Syndicate Bank

Vijayawada: For the economic growth of the nation banking sector play a key role, said Syndicate Bank general manager K Srinivas Rao. He participated in the bank regional level branch in-charges meeting here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that for the development of banking sector across the country this meeting was organised to get the suggestions and advice from the grassroots level. With the inputs of the meet, they would discuss at the state-level meeting in days to come which would strengthen the banking sector.

He said that for the development of the banking sector, new ideas are needed which should come from the grassroots level. He said that they are seeking advices and suggestions from all the employees present at the meeting.

He said that Syndicate Bank has introduced new facilities to the customers with the advanced technology like digital banking, MSM, loans and agricultural loans. Syndicate Bank regional representatives from Vijayawada, Guntur, Ongole, managers, staff participated in the two-day programme.
