Biswa Bhushan Harichandan swears in as AP new Governor

Amaravati: The BJP senior leader Biswa Bhushan Harichandan sworn-in as AP new Governor at Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

The interim Chief Justice of the High Court, Justice C Praveen Kumar has administered oath with the new Governor. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, MLAs, MLCs and other officials have attended the event.

After the swearing-in ceremony, the Governor, Chief Justice, and CM YS Jagan will attend a tea party. On the occasion, the Chief Minister will introduce the guests to the Governor.

Earlier, Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam readout the order of President of India Ramnath Kovind appointing Biswabhushan Harichandan as Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
