Biswa Bhushan Harichandan will swear-in as AP new Governor on 24 July
Amaravati: AP New Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan will be swearing-in on 24 July at 11:30 am. The high court Chief Justice will administer the oath to the new Governor.
One day before the swearing-in ceremony, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan will visit Tirumala Tirupati temple. After the darshan of the Lord, he'll reach Vijayawada.
Over the Governor's appointment to the state, the government has decided to convert former CM Chandrababu Naidu's camp office into a Raj Bhavan. The renovation of the building is under the process where the ground floor is used for official purpose, and the first floor is the residence of the Governor.
Biswa Bhusan Harichandan is a senior BJP leader for Odisha. Earlier he has served as MLA for five times, and also as BJP state president. He started his political journey in 1971 with Jansang party. Later he joined the BJP. Again in 1988 Biswa Bhusan Harichandan joined Janata Party and returned to BJP in 1996. He also penned several poetry books in the Odia language.
Meanwhile, With the appointment of new Governor to AP, the joint Governor of two Telugu states ESL Narasimhan will be limited to Telangana state.
