Breaking: AP cabinet to meet on January 20 to decide on state capital
The Andhra Pradesh cabinet will reportedly hold a crucial meeting on January 20 to decide the fate of the capital of state. It is learnt that the state assembly would also meet on the same day to discuss the High Power committee report, which will submit its report on January 17.
The high power committee, which met on Monday has come to an understanding on the report it has to submit. However, the committee has given a chance to the farmers to submit their concerns on capital issue in person or through an email.
On the other hand, the government is making arrangements to shift the secretariat to Visakhapatnam. In this backdrop, the officials are in search of buildings for the secretariat and chief minister camp office in Visakhapatnam.
