CCVA chief visits National Institute of Design

Vijayawada: Y Harish Chandra Prasad, chairman of the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) visited National Institution of Design (NID) located at the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus on Tuesday.

Prof Sekhar Mukherjee, Director, NID, took him on a campus tour and briefed him about the courses offered and also on the extra-curricular activities including design festival. Prasad evinced keen interest to take up certain Art and Design related activities jointly by CCVA and NID.

Dr E Shivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA, Ramakrishna Cherukuri, AO (Protocol), NID and Leena Chowdary, Architect, Juniper Brooks participated in the programme.
