Centre seems to have said aye for AP Council dissolution!
If the reports are to be believed, the central government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to have given the nod for the repeal of Andhra Pradesh Legislative council resolution passed in the state assembly. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday ahead of Parliament sessions, which begins from January 31.
Going by the BJP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao comments where he said that the centre does not see the abolition of the council from a political perspective. "The process will be carried forward according to the constitution, and there is no such thing as delaying or hastening the bill in any which way," GVL opined. He said the centre would respond if the issues of farmers would be raised in the Parliament.
"Some are deliberately misleading the subject, which is supposed to be dealt constitutionally," GVL said. He said that the party does not make decisions on the party's perspective.
