Children's Day: Vivo distributes books to orphans in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: Vivo Helping Hands celebrated Children's Day at Deepa Nivas at Gunadala on Thursday. They distributed school bags, stationary, books, T-shirts, lunch boxes, fruits and food on the occasion. Drawing, singing, running, lemon and spoon competitions were held for the students and the winners were given prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivo promotional manager Venessa said that many kids are becoming orphans due to clashes among their parents. She said that as ordinary kids the poor and orphan children have desires and aims. However, there are very few people in society to fulfil their desires and aims.
Vivo Helping Hands started in AP five years ago and was organising various programmes to support and uplift the talented poor and orphan children. She appealed to all the people to support the orphan and poor people in society. City manager Rick, retail manager Eswar, business manager Uday, Siva, Balabhavan director Father Ratna Kumar and others were present.
