CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to launch scheme for fisherfolk: Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose

Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister P Subhash Chandra Bose and Social Welfare Minister P Viswaroop on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements for Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to East Godavari district to participate in the World Fishermen Day celebrations at Komanapalli in Mummudivaram mandal on November 21.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Chief Minister will arrive at Gadilanka village in Mummudivaram mandal in the morning on November 21 and he will inaugurate the high-level bridge on Vrudha Gouthami connecting Pasuvullanka and Vasalathippa villages.

Later, the Chief Minister will attend World Fishermen Day celebrations at Komanapalli village in Mummudivaram mandal and launch 'YSR Matsyakara Bharosa' programme. The Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for 9 tourism boating control rooms. Social Welfare Minister P Viswaroop said that Jagan will launch fishermen welfare schemes and fulfill the promises made to them.

Ministers and officials visited the helipad at Gadilanka village, Pasuvullanka bridge and meeting place at Komanapalli. East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for CM's visit and for organise the World Fishermen Day in an effective way.

Mummudivaram MLA Ponnada Sateesh Kumar, JC-2 G Rajakumari and senior officers of various departments were present. Meanwhile, Collector Muralidhar Reddy and SP Nayeem Asmi separately reviewed the arrangements being made by various departments at Municipal office at Mummudivaram on Tuesday.
