Collector directs officials to supply sand in Rajamahendravaram

Due to heavy rains in Maharashtra, members of the Boat Association may face problem in digging of the sand from the river and there will be some problem if the flood water increases in the river.

The people can take the sand in their own vehicles also and the vehicles should be registered at the stock points. The people who booked sand online will get SMS and they can take the sand from the said sand stock yards.

Mines and Geology department joint director P Raja Babu, deputy director DVK Prasad, Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation general nanager T Venkatesh, Sub-Collector R Mahesh Kumar, corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar monitoring officials SK Swamy, Satyanarayana and others were present.
