Collector Dr. Pola Bhaskara: People told to make Prakasam virus-free district
Ongole: District Collector Dr. Pola Bhaskara advised the people to make a habit of personal hygiene and stop spitting in the public to stop spreading of Coronavirus in the district. He conducted a Coronavirus awareness programme for the women self-help groups in TTDC Compound in Ongole on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, the collector said that Coronavirus can be controlled by taking precautions as there is no vaccine for it. He said that the women groups have the responsibility of educating the public on the epidemic and asked them to create awareness among all six lakh women in the self-help groups in the district. He asked them to follow the instructions by the government and advised the public not to panic over the disease. He said that the disease is spreading in China through the touch and droplets from sneeze and cough and asked the public to keep themselves hygiene.
