Collector tells girls to available of government schemes

Kakinada: East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that extension of support to girl children, particularly for those from poor families, is much laudable. Participating in the distribution of notebooks by Durga Somu Prasad Charitable Trust to students of Pydah Satti Raju Municipal Corporation Girls High School at Salipeta here on Tuesday, the Collector complimented the services of the trust in different fields not only in East Godavari but also in neighbouring West Godavari.

In this connection, the Collector suggested the girl students to study with commitment to achieve the expected goals not only in education but also in life.The Collector suggested them to avail the educational benefits available through various schemes.

The proposed scheme of Amma Vodi is a boon to promote education among the poor and needy. Somu Prasad, chairman of Durga Somu Prasad Charitable Trust said that they have been extending support to poor in the fields of health and education.
