Consumer associations asked to enlighten voters in Eluru
Eluru: Joint Collector M Venugopal Reddy has asked the consumers associations to work for awareness among voters on significance of vote.
He was chief guest at the meeting organised on the eve of World Consumer Rights Day here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy urged the consumer's association members to enlighten voters to exercise their vote with morality.
They should not get influenced by money or any other benefits to exercise their vote, he said.
The JC also dwelt on reliable smart products and called upon the consumers associations to address problems of the consumer in shorter span of time using technology.
District civil supplies officer G Mohan Babu, GM Varakumar, legal metrology officer Sudhakar, Pollution Board official Vijaya Saradhi, Consumers Association members K Nirmala, ARK Hanumantha Rao, M Durgaprasad and others were present.
