Coronavirus in Kurnool: Central team visits Nandyal to examine COVID-19 measures

A special team of experts from the centre who visited the state to review the impact of the coronavirus in the state have continued their scrutiny over the cases. As part of a week-long visit to Kurnool district on Tuesday, the government has taken a look at the government's efforts to tackle the coronavirus in Nandyal.

Dr. Madhumitha Dubey and Dr. Sanjay Kumar are among the members of the central team. The Urban Health Center in the outer city of Nandala was examined on Tuesday. They then visited the community Quarantine Center in Chapirevu village and expressed satisfaction.

While the collector Veerapandian has inspected the red zones in the Atmakur town of the district. Subsequently, Tahsildar checked the office and made several suggestions to the authorities on the lockdown.

Meanwhile, in a sigh of relief, the Andhra Pradesh state has recorded 33 new coronavirus cases in the last twenty-four hours out of 10,730 tests conducted taking the tally to 2051. The decrease in daily number has come to relief for the state authorities who are striving hard to curtail the coronavirus spread. With this, the total number of active cases stands at 949, while 1056 persons have discharged. With one death in the last twenty-four hours, the death toll reached 46.
