Coronavirus update: Andhra Pradesh reports 381 new positive cases taking tally to 8,68,064

The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has seen a huge fall on Monday compared to Sunday. According to health bulletin released a short while ago, about 40,728 samples were tested in the last 24 hours where 381 new positive cases were reported taking the total number of cases across the state to 8,68,064 and four people have died in the past 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 6992.

The health bulletin reported that the recovery rate also been increased with as many as 934 people had recovered in the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of recovered cases to 8,53,232 while 7,840 are being treated at the various coronavirus hospitals. Meanwhile, East Godavari district has the highest number of 1,22,291 positive cases in the state, followed by West Godavari district with 92,452 cases while Chittoor district has 83,674 cases.

The state has conducted 1,00,57,854 tests overall, which is a massive number. As far as deaths, one died in the Krishna, Visakapatnam, Chittoor and Anantapur. The district wise date can be accessed in the below-mentioned tweet.
